Do you have a little bit of spare time during the week?
With the opening of our new museum exhibition ‘Lightbulb Moments’, we are introducing regular object handling drop-in sessions. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on with our heritage collections and develop new skills in artefact handling and public engagement.
The Spark Cart will be in the museum initially twice a month on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11am-1pm but this is subject to change.
What's involved?
* Introducing artefacts linked to the new exhibition.
* Guiding visitors in safe handling of objects.
* Sharing information about the objects’ history, use, and context.
* Tailor the message for different audiences
*Training will be provided.
How to get involved?
Sign up to this challenge and a member of our Learning Team will be in contact with you to arrange an induction and training.
