Secret Art of Survival Exhibition Tour Guides

Deliver short tours (20-30 mins) of Secret Art of Survival exhibition to visitors and booked groups.

What's involved?

Maximum of an hour per session, which includes delivering 20-30 minute tour of exhibition

We aim to deliver 2-3 tours per month from Feb 2020 – June 2020 and tour guides will be put onto a tour rota

Why get involved?

To develop skills and experience in working within an exhibition and to develop knowledge of this often hidden history of the Second World War. This would be an ideal role for people wishing to develop their tour guiding skills and working in a museum and gallery enviroment.

How to get involved?

Volunteer tour guides will attend a training session led by Meg Parkes, Secret Art of survival lead researcher. To book on to a training session (sessions are taking place in Jan and Feb) please email Debbie Walker, Secret Art of Survival Project Manager – dwalker14@btinternet.com

Volunteers will also be given a resource pack to use during the tour.
