Our friendly and knowledgeable guides take visitors on a tour around our beautiful building giving a fascinating insight into the history of the Victoria Building and its collections.
Your can find a little bit about our fascinating history on our website.
We're looking for people who have an interest in history, architecture, art and museum collections that can regularly dedicate their time.
Guides are required on the last Saturday of the month at 12.30pm to lead a tour for one hour. We organise who will work each session with a volunteer rota.
How to get involved?
- Sign up to this challenge.
- We will be in touch to organise training sessions with you.
We recommend at least 4 -6 training sessions with our established VG&M tour guides which are held every Tuesday & Thursday at 12.30pm.
We will provide a brief history of the building flyer, plus we advise you to download the VG&M Tour app: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/csd/app-directory/vgm/ so that you can do your own reading and research.
