Focus on FEPOW days

Focus on FEPOW days are a major part of the Secret Art of Survival exhibition events programme.

The day include a number of drop-in events repeated throughout the day and include exhibition tours, themed talks, conservation workshops and showcase the FEPOW family oral history project

What's involved?

Volunteers will meet and greet visitors as they arrive at VG&M and then help them to the different events taking place around the building

You can also assist the Captive Memories Website Manager to help visitors digital record their stories of living with a FEPOW survivor and assist photographing their artefacts for the digital archive.

Why get involved?

To meet new people, gain experience of working with the public and learn more about an this little know area of Second World War history

How to get involved?

Before the event you will be sent exhibition leaflet and the day’s event programme. On the day itself you will be met by the project manager and given a short introduction to the project and the sessions going on through the day.
