Regular Help

Creation Station

Do you have a little bit of spare time on Saturdays?

With the opening of our new museum exhibition ‘Lightbulb Moments’, we are introducing regular self-guided creator sessions for families. This is a great opportunity to develop communication skills, confidence and discover more about museum learning.

The craft sessions are usually open to the public between 11am-3pm and so we are looking for volunteers who can assist between 10am-4pm. If you are only able to assist for part of the day, please let us know.

What's involved?

* Laying out materials and tools in an inviting, accessible way

* Greeting visitors warmly and introducing them to the space.

* Ensuring tools, materials, and supplies are used safely and appropriately.

* Encouraging imagination and experimentation.

* Putting materials away.

* Recording visitor numbers.
