VG&M Meet and Greet Event Volunteer

We're looking to recruit volunteers to assist with our Visitor Services Team and carry out front of house duties during busy events.

 

What's involved?

Tasks will include duties such as:

1. Meeting and greeting visitors at the VG&M entrance and Welcome Desk.

2. Providing generic event information in the foyer (including wayfinding). 

3. Assisting with our visitor figure counting system.

4. Assisting with additional tasks supervised by members of the Visitor Services and Learning Teams.

Assistance may be required on other days during the week from Tuesday - Saturday but will predominantly be for Super Saturday events and regular Saturday event programming.

This opportunity will provide valuable experience in a front of house/customer facing role including:

* Experience working with visitors and the general public.

* Opportunity to improve communication and organisational skills as well as problem solving. 

*Experience working at events with large audience numbers.
